newsteamCan you smell it? The sent of the Stanely Cup Finals is in the air! TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT! Everyone will be anxiously plastered in front of their television screens or headed downtown for true Red Wing action.  Now getting to where-ever you’re going may be challenging if you plan on taking M-10, The Lodge. BUT – that’ s where I come in!

red wingsM-10 southbound between 9 Mile and 8 Mile will close tonight. All southbound lanes will SHUTDOWN tonight at 9pm until Thursday at 5am.  Now that doesn’t pose any problem for people going downtown from the north, but the best way around it is just to hop on the Lodge Service Drive during those overnight hours. Now here is where all of you Joe Louis Arena goers need to pat attention… The northbound lanes of the Lodge WILL REMAIN OPEN for the game… however, the northbound side of the Lodge will be reduced TO ONE LANE at 8 mile until 6 am!  So expect delays as you make your way north back home, you may just want to hop on I-75 or Woodward!
